About Rachel

Rachel Lauve is a second year grad student at Ball State University, earning her master’s in creative writing. She is also an alumna of Ball State University with a bachelor’s degree in English education and a minor in creative writing.

Rachel primarily writes creative nonfiction and poetry, and is one of the founding editors of briars lit, a queer fairytale literary anthology. Rachel is also a graduate assistant at Ball State and teaches in the Writing Program, works in the Writing Center, and assists the director of creative writing.
