Rachel Lauve is a first year grad student at Ball State University, earning her master’s in creative writing. She is also an alumna of Ball State University with a bachelor’s degree in English education and a minor in creative writing; at BSU, Rachel completed her honors thesis on the accessibility of mythology in Percy Jackson and the Olympians and the series’ ability to reach reluctant readers.
Rachel primarily writes creative nonfiction but is also an occasional and accidental poet. When Rachel is not reading the latest YA novel to capture her heart, she spends her time watching Disney movies and trying not to have anxiety attacks.
