Rachel Lauve is a first year grad student at Ball State University, earning her master’s in creative writing. She is also an alumna of Ball State University with a bachelor’s degree in English education and a minor in creative writing; at BSU, Rachel completed her honors thesis on the accessibility of mythology in Percy Jackson and the Olympians and the series’ ability to reach reluctant readers.
Rachel primarily writes creative nonfiction and poetry, but is currently dabbling in writing YA. Rachel is also a graduate assistant at Ball State and teaches in the Writing Program as well as works in the Writing Center.
